SMS Disclosure

This SMS Disclosure governs the automated text-message program operated by SQAVY, LLC ("Sqavy," "we," "us") on behalf of the small businesses that use our missed-call response service ("supported businesses").

Program Description

​

When a customer calls a supported business and the call is not answered, SQAVY, LLC platform automatically sends a text-message reply from a SQAVY-managed business phone number to the calling phone. The message identifies the business, acknowledges the missed call, and offers options such as scheduling service, requesting a quote, reporting an emergency, or requesting additional information. Follow-up messages may be sent based on the customer's reply (for example, appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, service updates, and post-service review requests).

Opt-In and Consent

​

When a customer calls a business that uses SQAVY, LLC missed-call response service and the call is not answered, that customer is the initiating party of the communication. By voluntarily placing the call to the business, the customer has provided their phone number to that business and reasonably expects a response.

Under TCR (The Campaign Registry) and CTIA guidelines for conversational and customer-care messaging, this constitutes valid opt-in consent for the business to respond by text message when the customer cannot be reached by phone.

The first message sent to every caller includes:

  • Identification of the sending business (for example, "Hi, this is [Business Name]")

  • The reason for the message ("sorry I missed your call")

  • Clear opt-out instructions ("Reply STOP to opt out")

Customers may revoke consent at any time by replying with any of the following keywords: STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, or STOPALL. Customers who do not wish to receive any text response are not required to engage and may simply not reply, or reply STOP.

Sample First Message

Hi, this is [Business Name] responding to your call. Sorry we missed you. To help you faster, reply: 1 for a quote, 2 for emergency service, or 3 to schedule. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for info.

Message frequency is recurring and varies by interaction. A typical service inquiry results in 1 to 5 messages. Customers who book ongoing service may receive periodic appointment reminders and follow-ups.

Message and Data Rates

​

Message and data rates may apply. SQAVY, LLC and supported businesses do not charge customers for these messages. Charges, if any, come from the customer's mobile carrier.

​

Opt-Out Keywords

​

Reply any of the following to stop receiving messages: STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, STOPALL.

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages from that number.

Your phone number and message content are used solely to operate the customer-response service for the business you contacted.
